Lastest Review about Ivan Rados book ‘Create Yourself’ by Banyen Books

Ivan Rados, the artist who illustrated the healer Adam’s popular books, now has a book of his own, chronicling his personal journey and approach to energy healing. He challenges us to look at ourselves and the world differently indeed, a long-term quest, yet his self-help section and visualization exercises are immediately useful and accessible.

“I have successfully assisted many clients in their healing and am going to share some of my understandings with you. I shall give you some of my experiences and my explanations of them followed by exercises which have helped me and many others. I am certain that they will help you too. My intention is also to assist you in moving from a linear self of limited understanding to a holographic or multidimensional sense of who you are. I will also amplify your spiritual energies, by employing the use of different Sacred Geometry visualizations and creative methods, so that you can begin to consciously activate your gifts, talents, and extrasensory creative abilities. You can learn to heal yourself and others and connect to the multidimensional, creative nature of the Infinite Universe.”

You can’t really arrive at yourself; you can only continue to realize and create yourself. That is the inner process of witnessing. There is no destination. Wherever you are, you are always at the beginning. Also, very often people will come to me to help them find meaning in life. Life has no meaning, so you can’t find it. Life is an opportunity to create a meaning. The Infinite Universe is not a thing; it is the Ultimate Creativity. Life does not have a conclusion; it is the participation in life that creates the meaning. Life has to be a multidimensional experience if you want to create meaning, if you want to create your health, if you want to create yourself.

“Ivan’s approach made it much easier for me to grasp the fundamentals of Sacred Geometry and I found myself becoming much more aligned with my own abilities. My Reiki attunement was strengthened and my visualizations became sharper and therefore more helpful. I highly recommend this book!”

Ivan Rados’ new book “Create yourself: secrets of self discovery and healing with sacred geometry” is a brave exploration of human consciousness and the nature of reality. It is also a study of the relationship between energy and illness, and Ivan skillfully guides readers in practices which create wellness through development of mindfulness and connection to the one infinite consciousness. By locating the divine within us, Ivan offers readers a tremendous new world of personal power and self-determination. The book is a passionate call to personal responsibility–we are invited to behold ourselves as co-creators of our reality and to engage in radical self-acceptance.

Throughout the text, Ivan shares his own journey, and reveals an indomitable spirit seeking ever greater connection to the Infinite Universe. This book is essential to anyone involved with energy healing, or curious about the energetic relationships between thought, emotion, matter, and disease.

‘Create Yourself’ is a fascinating and essential guide to finding yourself, health, peace and happiness through the process of self-help and visualization exercises with Sacred Geometry. This book is a highly original and inspiring piece of work (specially by knowing that there is no other material giving Sacred Geometry such an important place in our health and self discovery), which will offer readers the potential to recreate and heal themselves through the powerful forces of interconnectedness with each other and the universe. It’s like reading a sacred text filled with modern scientific discovery that’s written in an easy, clear, and enjoyable manner.

Just read through some of Ivan Rados words about life as process (creative process). Loved it. Puts into words what I have been mulling over myself for the past few months. You create your own meaning, and only you can do it for yourself. The mystery of manifestation. The thing that we can do that the angels cannot…Life, our bodies, are a gift. And you, sir, are a fine and empowering guide.

Review about Ivan Rados book ‘Create Yourself’ by Kate Cahill

Before the war tore Yugoslavia apart, Ivan Rados enjoyed life as a highly successful artist and was equally well known in the world of performing arts. In 1992, he emigrated to England, with his wife, Svetlana a clinical psychologist. Here he re-established himself both as an artist and an art-performer. He exhibited in prestigious galleries nationally and worldwide. Some of his work is now in museums and private collections. The BBC broadcast a documentary about his art in 1996 and his name and face frequently appeared in the national media. He was also a visiting lecturer at Halifax College of Fine arts.

1994 saw the publication of his book on art in the context of enlightening and healing, entitled “The Transparent Man”. This limited edition publication sold out at its launch. Following this in 1997, Ivan represented the UK as the only featured artist in Cleveland Performance Art Festival, Ohio, USA. It was here, towards the end of his performance, that the knowledge of his true vocation became obvious, first to his wife, then to Ivan himself. The atmosphere was electric as he felt irresistibly drawn to certain audience members. Allowing their energy to affect him, and charging it with his own love and compassion, he reflected this energy back to them. This spontaneous act induced an astonishing array of emotional responses in those concerned. Laughing, sobbing, crying – they were all positively affected. Having witnessed this, Svetlana had no doubt that he was a healer in his true vocation.

It was not unusual for Ivan to take drastic action in response to what he describes as his inner voice. The voice which ‘delivered’ Ivan and Svetlana from Yugoslavia two days before war broke out, was now instructing him to move to Canada. (A difficult move for Svetlana who was by now working with a team of psychologists and psychological therapists in a British hospital). The Rados family had learned to trust this inner voice however, and in 2001 they emigrated with their four year old son Kai.

To understand that your true vocation is a departure from a familiar successfully trodden path is traumatic. In Canada, Ivan began a turbulent journey inward during which he found it necessary to isolate himself completely in the Canadian mountains. This current publication is the result of this retreat. Having taken his lap top in order to finish the visualisations for Adam’s book “Dreamhealer 2, Guide to Self Empowerment”, what actually took place was a mystery. In a trance like state Ivan began to write furiously, with ‘unconscious conviction’ and emerged from this state with enough written material for at least two books.

This book is the first in a series. It offers an account of his personal journey which led to its realization and includes an explanation of the psychological and scientific foundations of his approach to healing. His belief is that the ability to heal is not unique but through self-exploration, thought modification and self-help exercises, each one of us can harness our own creative prowess in order to become healers ourselves.

A challenge is presented in each section of the book. An examination of the double edged sword of living in the modern world carries with it implications for the way in which we lead our lives in a physical sense. Ivan points out that understanding the severity of the degree of pollution in our own environment inculcates a sense that we must re-organize our lives. Thinking about ways in which we could channel our resources into eating differently for example is one suggestion. Offering a view of mainstream politics which is currently shared by many in the western world, this section may politicize readers in the best sense of the word.

Turning his attention to temporal issues Ivan explores the linear construct of time, along with our firmly internalized concept of past, present and future. Whilst a universally shared construct is a requirement of social interaction, Ivan postulates that we may get ‘stuck’ in the past and anxiously bypass the present as we fearfully anticipate the future. To hold this one sense of time has a direct effect on our mood, thoughts and behavior. The suggestion made here, is that in order to move on we must strive to respectfully manage our past by working through our varied and sometimes painful experiences. Mentally disentangling ourselves from linear time is well nigh impossible without guidance. To help with this Ivan has described exercises (Mandala Type) and given our minds some helpful ‘toys to play’ with. The idea here is that casting aside illusions of past and future and engaging completely in the present will help us lead healthier emotional lives.

A question of balance and integration arises when Ivan moves onto biological and neurological theories. Here we are introduced to a description of the different regions of the brain and the ways in which they function and influence our thinking and behavior. If our function is lodged predominantly in one region of the brain at the expense of another it may lead to rigidity, impaired cognitions or an constant sense of anxiety. In order to promote greater integration in neurological function Ivan introduces us to what is undoubtedly the pivotal aspect of his work. Sacred geometry binds together all his thinking, creativity and experience to date. In this series of uplifting and fascinating exercises, Ivan shows us how to acquire a balance in our mental activity. These exercises are a joy to use and are unique to Ivan.

Finally, in several chapters of the book, we are reminded that we are really talking about energy. This is crucial to his thinking. Taking us through basic physics he includes an accessible explanation of what we and the universe are made of. How much is matter? How much is energy? These facts underpin his work and give us a firmer grasp on his ideas.

Ivan is a spiritual person. His beliefs and approach to life permeate each domain of his writing. He challenges us to look at ourselves and the world differently. This is very much a long-term quest. In contrast, the self-help section and visualisation exercises are immediately useful and accessible. His book is a highly original and inspiring piece of work, which will offer readers the potential to recreate and heal themselves through the powerful forces of interconnectedness with each other and the universe.
