TRUTH
Truth
Truth isn’t something we have to search for. Neither is it something to be read about, learned, or in some other way attained.
It may also surprise you to hear that truth can’t be communicated.
The search for truth outside of One Self is an addiction—whether this addiction is to words, books, theories, traditions, or dogma.
To know the truth, we have to unburden ourselves from the interference of judgment, ideologies, moral systems, and the various theories we may have learned. Only then can truth be revealed to us.
Truth is realized through awareness. Awareness asks us to unlearn and decondition. This means we do nothing except observe both our outer and inner worlds. Because the mind leads us on searches for truth in other people and places, this can be difficult. It’s easy to give away our power to someone else’s truth instead of realizing we already are the truth. It’s rightly been said that truth can set you free—but not a borrowed truth, only the truth of our One Self.
Truth doesn’t comes from someone or somewhere else, but is part of our intrinsic nature because all of us are born in infinite truth. Later in life, it has to be unearthed from beneath layers of imprinted irrelevant information.
We are privileged because we have the freedom to make choices. Indeed, freedom is our birthright. Our freedom is meant to be used with discrimination so we can discover what we are missing in life.
Truth can be felt by our heart but not known by our mind. This is because it’s subjective, dependent on our interior condition. When we are patient, silent, meditative, and aware, in each moment the insight we need emerges from within.
In fact, we are the truth we require. We have within us the wisdom needed for every situation that may arise. Our inner being always knows which direction to go because we possess the inner knowing that’s an aspect of the consciousness of oneness.
Truth is the essence of existence. The whole of Mother Nature is truthful. Indeed, everything lives its truth except for humans. Yet the moment we realize we are a part of existence, truth showers down upon us in all its glory.
